The Vision for Chateau Montestruc Healing Retreat and ways you can contribute

How you can contribute to the Vision for Chateau Montestruc Healing Retreat
THE VISION

To create a place of healing and retreat for recuperation and regeneration. A quiet and still environment for learning and introspection, for letting go and letting be, for re-connection with yourself and others on a healing journey.

Presently we are able to offer 12 beds in the main house, a self contained apartment which sleeps up to 5 persons and a beautiful teaching space for small group work. We further want to develop and renovate the barn next to the Chateau to provide a 70 square meter teaching room and a further 9 beds. This will provide a large teaching and work space to comfortably accommodate 20 or more students. The third and later phase of the project will be to renovate and offer several of the outbuildings for those who wish to stay on extended retreat at Montestruc.

HealingRetreatFrance is a non-profit making organisation and all of the money that is generated goes back into the business and is used to further develop the healing retreat, offer free healing days and educational workshops. Our aim is to introduce as many people as possible to healing and living a life of balance, consciousness and awakening.

SO HERE ARE WAYS YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE TO THE VISION OF CHATEAU MONTESTRUC HEALING RETREAT

Chateau Montestruc today has benefited from a full renovation with a completely new infra-structure to service the main house. However, there is still much work to do to bring Montestruc into the full offering of the vision. We would love to receive offers of help, donations of gifts or money to assist us in bringing this vision into full reality. Listed below are ways that you can offer us help in realizing this dream or can be offered in exchange for healing or as part payment for a workshop:

Offering your skills
Upholstery; general sewing; curtain making; general painting (window frames etc); D.I.Y jobs; woodwork; gardening; cleaning of windows; stone masonry (walls to be repaired); book-keeping and accountancy.

Donation of gifts for Montestruc
Fruit trees for the meadow, plants and shrubs for the gardens, pictures/paintings for the house, kitchen cooking utensils, saucepans and cooking pans, cooking bowls, dinner plates and side plates; drinking mugs; Single sets of sheets in cream or white, candles, blankets and bed throws, self development/spiritual books etc.

Assistant on Free Healing Days: A person who is able to speak French and English to assist me during healing consultations and to help those arriving and leaving the healing session.

Offering to be part of a Service Team at Workshop weekends
At each workshop weekend we will require a small Service Team to assist with tasks and to create a space in which guests will feel safe and comfortable. Service Team tasks include:

Workshop Assistant: Assistant to teacher during the workshop processes; Preparing and setting-up of the teaching room and keeping the room comfortable.

Cook and Kitchen Assistant: to prepare and cook the meals during workshop weekends; washing up and clearing of kitchen (and in the summer the same duties carried out in the outdoor kitchen as meals will be served outside); ensuring the tea/coffee making area is clean and stocked.

Main House Assistant: making up of beds; cleaning bedrooms; cleaning bathrooms/toilets, lighting an evening fire in the sitting room and keeping the wood burner stocked with wood during winter months.
You can make a contribution to the healing vision at Montestruc.
