About Chateau Montestruc Healing Retreat
Montestruc is a beautiful French Chateau dating back to the 16th century with later additions in the 18th and 19th century. Commissioned and built by Count Blésignac the war minister to Louis the 16th, it is set amid the beautiful countryside and rolling vineyards of the Entre-deux-Mers region of France. Just 40 minutes drive from the Centre of Bordeaux and 20 minutes from the historic town of St. Emilion. The house itself has a grand entrance hall with a monumental stone fireplace, two sitting rooms, kitchen with adjoining utility room, dining room and bar leading onto the terrace and swimming pool. From the entrance hall there is an impressive stone staircase which takes you to the second floor arriving on the upper hallway. In this part of the house there are five huge bedrooms, three of which are available for the use by guests. Each guest bedroom sleeps 4 persons and has ample bathroom and toilet facilities adjacent to each room. All bedrooms are situated at the back of the property where there are fabulous views of the vineyards, gardens and open meadows.

Additionally part of the Chateau has been newly renovated to provide a large self contained apartment with two bedrooms, bathroom and an open-plan kitchen and sitting room. It sleeps a maximum of five persons.

Within the enclosed garden we have a beautiful swimming pool with outdoor kitchen, soft seating area, shower, toilet and changing area.
